1. I remember reading this fic (posted on <lj user="remusxsirius">) a while ago I think. I don't know the title or the author but I remember that it was fairly short and really smutty ;] It was something like Sirius and Remus having sex and Sirius was trying to get Remus to say something and it ends with Remus saying that Sirius' Quidditch team was the greatest.

2. This is awkward and sort of embarrassing but could anyone recommend any good smut-ish fics with hand kinks or voice kinks or something? Or anything good basically, haha.

1. I can't remember if this is a one shot or a bit of a longer story, but I have this scene stuck in my head where Peter is having his career advice meeting with McGonagall and he keeps talking about toast. I have a feeling this is probably from a really obvious fic like SBP or something, but if it is I can't for the life of me find which chapter of which one.

2. Can anyone recommend any good fics in which Sirius is a Healer/training to be a Healer/planning on being a Healer after school? This is definitely my favorite profession to read him in, and while I've seen a few fics involving Healer!Sirius, it definitely doesn't seem to be the most common career choice for him. Also, If anyone has any recs in which Sirius holds other interesting jobs I'd be interested to see those too. I'm just getting sick of reading him as an Auror or living off his inheritance or working for the Order full-time.

I don't have a specific fic in mind, but I was curious as to whether there was a fic like this.

I was thinking how suspicious it would be for the Whomping Willow to be planted the year Remus first went to Hogwarts. Wouldn't people gossip? Would Sirius, James, even Peter, get curious? What if they tried to include Remus in a discovering the mystery of the Whomping Willow or something? And Remus perhaps tried to deter them in their efforts?

I'd like to read this if anybody knows of something like this. Having hints of future R/S would be great...

new country, new school, new semester, new everything.
I cannot log in to check my email, and I am just devastated and I need fics. This is a craving I have not felt for a while now, but I am desperate at the moment. 
I srsly am homesick, which I hadn't expected, and I just feel like an outsider(which I technically am) and I just need fics. 
Anyone, and I seriously mean ANYONE, please please please rec me fics that make yourself happy, or just think that'll make me happy. 
The genre does not matter, if it's angst and still makes you happy, there's a good chance it'll make me happy as well. Anything would do. 
Maybe it could be a fic that makes me feel symphasized. That would be great, since I never really read of fics that have them homesick or such things.
...and now I just feel silly because 11year olds in HP do not grow homesick(seemingly anyway) and I'm here sitting in front of my internet that's just started working at the speed of a turtle, and feeling miserable without no exact reason even when I think it's homesick.

So I have officially given up trying to find these fics by myself and have decided to see if you helpful folk can find them.

1. It was a short one, Sirius and Remus are together but secretly and Sirius tells everyone about it by jumping up on the common room table... I think McGonagal walks in and is pretty much like "that's nice... now get off the table"

2. This one I read really recently and it had Sirius talking to Dumbledore for misbehaving so much. Dumbledore makes a pointed comment about his actions parraleling those that James did but with Lily.

Hello! I'm back again. *g*

This time I have two requests.

The first one was a fic I read not so long ago, but I don't remember when it was written. It was a fluffy fic, and not terribly long. It started with Sirius thinking it ought to be impossible to drink tea sexily, but that Remus somehow manages. Everything from there to the end is fuzzy. In the end, however, Sirius confronts Remus and accuses him of deliberately torturing him, and Remus is clueless. Sirius realises that Remus hasn't acted any different than usual, and that Sirius is only seeing him differently. It was a happy ending, though I think the fic was just rated PG-13.

The second one is even more vague. I recall it was a long fic, though I can be completely off; I can only remember the beginning. James and Peter were pointing out that Remus and Sirius act rather strange for being just mates, and Remus and Sirius break out in an impromptu romantic performance, complete with swooning and silly endearments, just to mess with them. That is unfortunately all I can remember, apart from it being not too angsty get-together!fic.
However, I am in the mood for not-timid!Remus, so any fics even similar to this one will make me happy. *g*

Wondering if anyone could help me. I'm looking for a fic I read years and years and years ago and, naturally, can remember neither the title or the author, but I'm pretty sure it was archived on FF.Net, although possibly on LJ somewhere.

Basically, the war had got really bad, and Dumbledore decided to send Remus back in time to the start of his school life using a Time Turner. It turns out that you can't go that far back without consequences, and only his spirit makes it. He manages to possess his younger self, managing to confuse the poor boy terribly and change events, although the details have dimmed.

Been thinking about re-reading it (since I can't even remember if I finished it/if it was finished first tme round) lately, and... help!

I am looking for raising Harry fics. One specific one is where Harry gets his Hogwarts letter and is very clingy with Remus. After awhile, Harry finally admits that he overheard Mrs. Weasley talking and that Sirius wouldn't want to keep supporting an unemployed werewolf, so Remus/Sirius were breaking up and moving away. They are still together and move London I think. But any other R/s raising Harry as a couple or as friends would be wonderful. I've read Stealing Harry, The Maddest House, Midnight Series, Harry Potter, Sirius Black's Godchild, The Name is Potter-Black, Scenes from Another Life, and Inevitably. Thanks!!

I need some Winter fictions right now. I've looked in the tags, and not found anything... it's frustrating. The only winter fiction (well, half-winter fiction, really) I know is "Thing" by Waxjism. I'm going to re-read it now, but I'd like something new.

So... if you know any fics that are set in Winter, spam me over! I'd love every hint you could give me.

A Lie I Have Told You

Lie: I don't drink coffee

I love coffee. Have since the summer before junior year, when tall cups of iced java kept me sane through my long commutes into the city. All that caffeine makes me jittery and light, like my blood is carbonated and I have to keep moving, moving, moving, or else the bubbles will bubble their way into my brain and boomswishswish, there go my capillaries.

And you're the same way. You're worse than a venti macchiato, than an extra-large vanilla cappuccino, than four shots of iced espresso downed at once. You make me more carbonated than anything, make my blood feel like champagne as it colors my cheeks and warms my chest. You and coffee at the same time would be an overdose of goodness, such a rush that it's lethal.

Though, now that I think about it, dying of Champagne Blood really can't be all that bad.

As the school vibe slowly starts to work its way into my life, I find myself thinking more and more about the college/university application process. I have a year, but I need to really think about it now.

I am considering a few schools in UK, specifically Oxford and LSE.  Your experiences applying there, comparison to education from another country (studying abroad, continuing your education, internships, etc.), additional expenses / grants and loans, quality of the education, and overall experience would be most welcomed!

RTE + Opera and Safari = <3
RTE stands for Rich Text Editor, which is the default method of posting entries from the Post an Entry page. Our Rich Text Editor is based on the open-source FCKeditor code. It allows you to make links or LiveJournal user tags, insert photos or videos, and format your entries without needing to know HTML. That is, unless you use Opera or Safari as a browser, in which case you couldn't use the RTE.

That will be changing today. We are pleased to announce that the RTE has been upgraded to the latest version of the FCK code, which includes support for Opera and Safari! In addition, many of the bugs in the old version have been fixed. If you've been using RTE, you will most likely need to clear your browser's cache in order to use the new version.

We've reversed this display, returning deleted and suspended usernames to a struck-through and clickable state.
